Mustard Markets Mixed on Week

PANAMA - Nov 30/18 - SNS -- North American mustard seed markets posted a mixed finish the week, with prices for brown and yellow unchanged, but oriental easing as offers from growers and processors move ahead of the short term needs of the market.

This was reflected in a 4% decline in prices offered to growers to U.S. $440 per metric ton (MT) for No 1 grade farmers dressed product delivered western Canadian processing plants.

Bids for yellow and brown were unchanged in Canadian dollar terms, but eased 1% in U.S. currency terms to $565 and $482 MT respectively.
