Easier Note in Dry Beans

PANAMA - Nov 9/18 - SNS -- North American dry edible bean markets finished the week's trading on an easier note against improved availability of new crop product.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which lost two points to finish the week at 111.7, with processors and exporters filling short terms needs for movement to domestic buyers and importers in Mexico.

Other major pulse price indices were also generally easier, reflecting relatively strong competition for available demand. The Canadian pulse price index slipped 0.1 points to finish at 124.9. The world pulse price index was eased 0.5 points to close at 134.8.
