Few Changes in Most Beans

PANAMA - Oct 19/18 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were largely unchanged on the week with offers from growers remaining well balanced with the short term needs of processors and exporters.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which was unchanged to finish the week at 113.4. Other major pulse price indices posted a mostly firmer finish for the week.

The Canadian pulse price index gained 0.8 points to finish at 125.2. The world pulse price index was jumped 2.8 points to close at 139.6. This is the highest the world pulse price index has been since February and reflects bullish sentiment in Australia's domestic market because of poor harvest results.
