Few Changes in Chickpeas
PANAMA - Oct 12/18 - SNS -- International chickpea markets were little changed in the past week, with markets for medium and small caliber kabuli remaining under pressure.
The latest USDA production estimates suggest this year's crop could approach 571,000 metric tons (MT) in that country, up sharply from last year's 316,000 result.
Production was not broken down by class. Instead, the USDA issued state level yield and production estimates.
