United States Small Red Bean Grower Price Review

VANCOUVER - Sep 5/18 - STAT -- United States Small Red Bean markets finished the 2017-18 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 8% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.

The average price paid for Small Red Bean was USD$27.08 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $29.51 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.

Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $29.80 per cwt in April, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $25.00 per cwt in January.
