Weak Tone Maintained in Chickpeas
PANAMA - Aug 24/18 - SNS -- International chickpea markets maintained their weaker tone for medium and small caliber kabuli chickpeas through the past week.
Harvests in the United States and Canada are making good progress. The improved availability of new crop merchandise in both countries saw a further erosion in grower bids in both countries.
Prices have recovered significantly since setting their historic lows at the end of July. But, they remain at the bottom end of their historic prices ranges.
