Easier Dry Bean Markets
PANAMA - Aug 17/18 - SNS -- North American dry edible bean markets eased during the past week against weak holiday season buying interest from Europe.
This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which slipped 0.9 points on the week to finish at 114.6. Other major pulse price indices finished the week on an firmer tone.
The Canadian pulse price index gained 0.4 points to finish at 122.0. The world pulse price index jumped 3.4 points on the week to finish at 132.8.
