Dry Bean Tone Still Easy

PANAMA - Aug 3/18 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets maintained their slightly easier tone through the past week, with many end users in Europe now in summer holiday mode.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which slipped 0.4 points on the week to finish at 118.6. Other major pulse price indices finished the week on an easier tone.

The Canadian pulse price index gained 0.5 points to finish at 124.2. The world pulse price index dropped 0.7 points on the week to finish at 128.8.
