VANCOUVER - Aug 1/18 - STAT -- Canadian 10mm Kabuli Chickpeas markets finished the 2017-18 marketing year with prices falling 9% below the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $52.00 per cwt in May, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $44.75 per cwt in July.
During the latest three year period, the highest monthly average trading level was $59.33 per cwt in January, compared to the lowest monthly average of $53.20 per cwt in August.
