Peas Continues Easier
PANAMA - Jul 20/18 - SNS -- International field pea markets finished the week's trading on a slightly easier note because in the face of pending harvest activity in the northern hemisphere.
With India absent from markets and most food pea buyers waiting for harvest selling pressure, the focus is more on feed peas markets.
Exporters have accumulated significant inventories of peas in Canada's bulk handling system in anticipation of strong movement over the coming weeks, suggesting there will be little short covering activity until after harvest.
