Birdseed Markets Ease
PANAMA - Jul 20/18 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the wee's trading with a continuation of the recent easier tone, despite strength in grains and oilseeds.
Canadian canaryseed and confection sunflower were mostly unchanged in both grower and inter-dealer markets, but white proso millet and oil type sunflower lost ground.
Seeding of this year's crops is now virtually complete, with crops in the United States developing faster than usual while conditions in Canada remain variable.
