Mustard Seed Markets Steady

PANAMA - Jun 22/18 - SNS -- Canadian mustard seed markets were unchanged on the week, with processors and growers paying attention to the developing crop.

Conditions are mixed in many parts of Saskatchewan, with some areas needing a good soaking rain for crop establishment and flowering. Others, are looking good with ample soil moisture reserves. The implication is crops is general have the potential for at least average yields across the growing region.

While prices offered to Canadian growers were unchanged in local currency terms, they finished the week slightly lower in U.S. dollar terms.
