Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 23/18 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of Bight is slowly moving east strengthening a ridge across southeastern Australia. During Tuesday the high will move over the southwestern Tasman Sea maintaining the ridge to the northwest and a low pressure trough is expected to develop over western New South Wales.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayMostly clear. Light southwest to southerly winds.Sunday 24 JuneMostly sunny apart from slight chance of showers along the central coastal fringe. Areas of morning frost. Daytime temperatures below average. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresher on the south coast.Monday 25 JuneSlight to medium chance of showers near the north coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Areas of morning frost. Daytime temperatures near average. Light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Tuesday 26 JuneSlight to medium chance of showers near the north coast. and in the northwest. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Areas of morning frost. Daytime temperatures near average in the east and below average in the west.
