Mustard Eases Into New Crop

PANAMA - Jun 1/18 - SNS -- Mustard seed markets are starting the transition into new crop pricing, with seeding of this year's crop in its final stages.

As of May 28, 92% of Saskatchewan's intended area had been planted, compared to 78% by the same time last year and the recent average of 71%.

Anxiety over dry soil conditions and the condition of crops was relieved by rainfall in several areas and the return of more normal temperatures.
