Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Apr 20/18 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weakening trough lies over western New South Wales and another just off the northern coast, while a high near Tasmania extends a ridge into the state's southeast. The coastal trough is expected to remain in the region for a number of days, likely deepening under the influence of an upper-level system, with potential to bring fairly wet weather to coastal areas north of about Port Macquarie. Meanwhile, a ridge will replace the decaying trough in the west, promoting generally fine conditions over the inland during the forecast period.

The chance of a morning shower along southern and central parts of the coast. Fine and mostly sunny inland, apart from the risk of an afternoon shower or thunderstorm in central parts.
