Green Lentil Grower Bids Decline
PANAMA - Apr 13/18 - SNS -- Lentil markets were relatively quiet during the past week, with limited business reported in both spot and new crop shipping positions.
Though prices offered to growers in Canada and the United States finished the week with a firmer undertone, nominal export asking prices maintain their weak tone.
The fact product continues to be discounted in new crop shipping positions is encouraging end users to buy product on an as needed basis, expecting lower average prices after harvest.
