Uncertainty in Dry Beans
PANAMA - Mar 30/18 - SNS -- Dry edible bean and pulse markets finished the week's trading on an uncertain note against relatively slow demand from buyers.
Markets were quiet heading into the Easter weekend, with many traders absent as the week drew to a close and expected to remain away from their desks until Tuesday or Wednesday.
This was reflected in markets in the United States, with the U.S. spot index for beans finishing the week unchanged at 121.8.
