WASHINGTON - Mar 29/18 - SNS -- Lentil seedings in the United States could drop 28% to 791,000 acres, according to the USDA's seeding intentions report for 2018.
Planted area is expected to be lower in all estimating States (Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, and Washington) than a year ago. However, if realized, this will be the third largest planted area on record.
