Mustard Unchanged in Steady Exports
PANAMA - Mar 10/18 - SNS -- Canadian mustard seed markets finished the week on a generally unchanged, with spot market bids paid to Canadian growers unchanged from the previous week.
Official trade data through the end of January shows Canadian export movement lagging last season, with shipments between August and January down 4% at just under 55,000 metric tons (MT).
This represents 45% of forecast exports for the marketing year, compared to the previous five year average of 49% shipped during the first half of the marketing year.
