Easier Week For Dry Beans

PANAMA - Feb 23/18 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets were unchanged to easier in seasonal trading activity during the past week.

Markets in the United States finished the week on an easier note, with prices moving to the lower end of their recent trading ranges. This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which finished the week by slipping 1.3 points to finish the week at 123.5.

Other major pulse price indices finished the week with an easier undertone. Though the Canadian pulse price index was unchanged at 155.9, the world pulse price index dropped 0.5 points on the week to close at 141.1.
