More Bean Sellers Than Buyers

PANAMA - Feb 3/18 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were nominally unchanged in limited trading activity during the past week, with selling interest pushing ahead of the short term needs of buyers.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which finished the week up 0.4 points at 125.3 in limited trading activity.

Other major pulse price indices finished the week on a mixed note. The Canadian pulse price index slipped 0.4 points to finish at 161, while the world pulse price index inched 0.1 points lower on the week to close at 140.9.
