Bean Markets Rest For Holidays
PANAMA - Dec 22/17 - SNS -- International dry edible bean markets are in holiday mode, with the result there was limited trading activity during the past week.
This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which slipped 0.4 points to finish the week at 125.8.
Other major pulse price indices finished the week on a mixed note. The Canadian pulse price index rose 1.0 points to finish at 154.5 against fill in demand from exporters, while the world pulse price index was unchanged on the week at 142.8.
