Little Change in Dry Bean Markets

PANAMA - Dec 15/17 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were little changed in seasonally light trade during the past week as traders in many countries focus on the pending holiday season.

This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans, which slipped 0.9 points to finish the week at 126.2.

Other major pulse price indices finished the week on a mixed note. The Canadian pulse price index rose 1.2 points to finish at 152.9 against fill in demand from exporters, while the world pulse price index was down 0.6 points to finish the week at 144.1.
