Slow Bulk Mustard Shipments
PANAMA - Dec 15/17 - SNS -- The Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) reports 300 MT of bulk mustard seed export clearances through reporting terminals and primary elevators between December 4 to December 10.
That lifted season to date exports to 7,900 MT, compared to 8,400 MT exported during the previous marketing year.
The decline in bulk mustard seed movement is offset by a shift to container shipments. Total mustard seed exports during the first three months of the 2017-18 marketing year came in at 27,998 MT, virtually unchanged from the same period last year.
