Weather Situation A high pressure lies over the Tasman Sea. A low pressure trough will reach far western Victoria late Wednesday afternoon, move across central districts during the evening and the stall over northeastern Victoria early Thursday as a cold front crosses southern Victoria. A high pressure ridge will extend over southern Victoria on Thursday and Friday. Forecast for the rest of TuesdayClear. A light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Wednesday 13 DecemberFine and sunny at first. Cloud increasing from the west with with isolated showers and possible thunderstorms developing in the far west at night. Hot to very hot with fresh and gusty northerly winds, shifting cooler west to southwesterly over western and central districts during the late afternoon and evening. Afternoon seabreezes about the Gippsland coast.Fire Danger - Severe over the northwest. High to Very High elsewhere.Thursday 14 DecemberIsolated showers and possible thunderstorms developing throughout, becoming scattered over the ranges during the afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms contracting to the east by the evening then clearing. Warm in the north and east east at first, milder west to southwesterly winds extending throughout during the day.Friday 15 DecemberFine and mostly sunny apart from isolated showers and possible thunderstorms about the far eastern ranges, and the chance of a showers or drizzle about the southwest coast. A mild to warm day with light to moderate west to southwesterly winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Saturday 16 DecemberFine and mostly sunny apart from isolated showers about the far eastern ranges, and the chance of a showers or drizzle about the southwest coast.
