WASHINGTON - Nov 9/17 - SNS -- The United States all orange forecast for the 2017-2018 season is 4.16 million tons, down 4% from last month and down 19% from the 2016-2017 final utilization, according to the latest crop estimates from the USDA.
The Florida all orange forecast, at 50.0 million boxes (2.25 million tons), is down 7% from last month and down 27% from last season's final utilization.
Early, midseason, and Navel varieties in Florida are forecast at 21.0 million boxes (945,000 tons), down 9% from last month and down 36% from last season's final utilization.
The Florida Valencia orange forecast, at 29.0 million boxes (1.31 million tons), is down 6% from last month and down 19% from last season's final utilization. California and Texas orange production forecasts were carried forward from the previous month.
