Sunflower Little Changed
PANAMA - Oct 20/17 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets have been little changed following the October 12 USDA crop report.
Reported reductions in average yields were expected by markets, with the result outside markets remain a more powerful influence over the medium term.
CHS SunPrairie's Kayla Burkhart said one reason sunflower area in the United States drooped this year is "buyers felt they could acquire the hi-oleic oils desired in the open market. Well see how that pans out for them.´
