United States Great Northern Beans Grower Price Review
VANCOUVER - Sep 7/17 - STAT -- United States Great Northern Beans markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 15% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Great Northern Beans was USD$36.08 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $42.24 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $38.80 per cwt in September, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $34.75 per cwt in January.
