Laird Lentil Dealer Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/17 - STAT -- Canadian Laird Lentil markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices inching above the recent three year average annual price on inter-dealer markets in that country.
The average trading level for Laird Lentil was USD$49.27 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual market value of $49.18 during the previous three year period for machine dressed merchandise packed in bags delivered to Montreal.
Analysis of the monthly price pattern reveals the highest monthly average was $58.75 per cwt in February, while the lowest monthly average trading level was $42.00 per cwt in July.
