Oriental Mustard Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/17 - STAT -- Canadian Oriental Mustard markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices offered to growers falling 19% below the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Oriental Mustard was CDN$30.02 per 100 pounds (cwt), compared to an average annual bid of $36.89 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $31.80 per cwt in August, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $27.50 per cwt in September.
