Maple Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/17 - STAT -- Canadian Maple Pea markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices offered to growers rocketing 31% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Maple Pea was CDN$529.95 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $404.20 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $569.52 per MT in July, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $422.55 per MT in September.
