Feed Pea Grower Price Review in Canada
VANCOUVER - Aug 1/17 - STAT -- Canadian Feed Pea markets finished the 2016-17 marketing year with prices offered to growers leaping 13% above the recent three year average annual price offered to growers in that country.
The average price paid for Feed Pea was CDN$235.44 per metric ton (MT), compared to an average annual bid of $208.21 during the latest three year period for farmers dressed merchandise delivered processing plants.
Analysis of the monthly bid pattern reveals growers the highest monthly average bid was $253.99 per MT in December, while the lowest monthly average bid level was $205.76 per MT in March.
