Improved U.S. Bean Condition
PANAMA - Jul 30/17 - SNS -- Crop conditions in the United States managed a modest improvement over the past week, with 55% rated good to excellent, 29% in fair condition and 15% in very poor or poor condition.
Some of the key producing areas still need rain, but anxiety about the risk of a crop failure eased somewhat.
This was reflected in the U.S. spot index for beans which finished the week unchanged at 140.2 points.
