Birdseeds Await Seeded Area Estimates
PANAMA - Jun 24/17 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets managed a mixed finish on the week, with markets looking forward to the coming seeded area estimates for Canada and the United States.
Key commodities which can have an impact on the sector will be the direction for grain and oilseed acreage in both countries.
Discussing the situation, the U.S. based National Sunflower Association (NSA)said, "Traders are anxious to confirm thoughts of a decrease in corn and wheat acres with soybeans showing an increase from 2016 levels.
