Weather Situation A high pressure system southwest of Australia is slowly moving east strengthening a ridge to the northern Tasman Sea. A strong cold front preceded by a cloud band and rain will cross New South Wales during Thursday. A low may develop over the western Tasman Sea on Friday as the front moves offshore. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayPartly cloudy. Light and variable winds inland, tending southwesterly near the coast.Sunday 25 JuneSlight to medium chance of showers on the western slopes of the southern ranges or snow above 1400 metres. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Early frost and fog patches on the slopes and ranges. Westerly winds.Monday 26 JunePartly cloudy with slight chance of showers on the Alps or snow above 1400 metres. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Early frost patches on the slopes and ranges. Southwest to southeasterly winds.Tuesday 27 JuneSlight chance of light rain rain in the west. Cloud increasing in the remainder.
