Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 26/17 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A slow moving high pressure system lies over the state. The next cold front is expected to cross the state on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayMostly fine and sunny apart from the slight chance of showers on the south coast and far southern border regions. Early frost about the northern ranges, and patchy morning fog in the east. Light winds.Saturday 27 MayMostly fine and sunny apart from the slight chance of showers on the north coast and the far southern inland. Early frost patches about the tablelands, and areas of morning fog in the east. North to northwesterly winds.Sunday 28 MayModerate chance of showers in the southeastern inland increasing to high chance on the Alps and westwards with snow showers likely above 1000 metres overnight. Slight chance of showers on the northern ranges. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. West to northwesterly winds turning southwesterly in the west.Monday 29 MayEarly showers on the western slopes of the southern and central ranges, contracting south and falling as snow above about 1000 metres. Early frost on the east of the southern ranges. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Friday.Product IDN10031
