Politics Impact Birdseeds
PANAMA - May 20/17 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets once again posted a mixed finish, partly affected by outside political and economic events.
White proso millet and Canadian canaryseed maintained their weaker undertone, while oil type sunflower posted was unchanged to firmer.
Discussing the overall market situation, the U.S. based National Sunflower Association (NSA) noted, "It was a week of turmoil for the markets as political events in the US and Brazil impacted commodity prices.
