Chickpeas Maintain Firm Tone

PANAMA - May 14/17 - SNS -- Both kabuli and desi type chickpeas finished the week's trading on a firmer tone, helped by expectations European imports could expand.

The slow pace of seeding in the U.S. Pacific Northwest and western Canada as well as tight stocks in Mexico contribute to neutral to bullish sentiment.
