Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Mar 27/17 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge towards the northern New South Wales coast. A trough which brought a gusty southerly change to southern and western districts overnight is forecast to stall and weaken over central parts today. A fairly weak pressure pattern should then remain over the region until another trough, along with an associated cold front, sweeps across the state during Thursday and Friday. This system looks set to bring rain to eastern districts, potentially heavy, before moving away to the east on the weekend.
