Birdseed Ingredients Quiet
PANAMA - Mar 11/17 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a generally easier note.
While grower bids for white proso millet and confection sunflower were unchanged on the week, farmers saw bid levels for Canadian canaryseed and oil type sunflower seed retreat from the previous week.
Oil type sunflower bid levels tend to move more than other ingredients because of the link to canola and soybean oil markets, where prices are more sensitive to hints of change in biofuel policies and production prospects in South America.
