Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 25/17 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A 1029 hPa high pressure system centred west of Tasmania will move east to be over the Tasman Sea on Sunday. A new high will develop well south of the Bight mid week. A weak trough over the eastern states will move westwards over the north of SA early next week.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds.Sunday 26 FebruaryFine. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot in the north. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds and fresh coastal sea breezes, tending easterly in the far west.Monday 27 FebruaryFine apart from the chance of early morning fog patches about Kangaroo Island, the southern Mt Lofty Ranges and the Lower South East district. Warm near southern coasts, grading to hot elsewhere. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and moderate afternoon coastal sea breezes.Tuesday 28 FebruaryFine. Warm near southern coasts, grading to hot elsewhere and very hot in the far northeast. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.Wednesday 1 March
Fine. Hot in the south grading to very hot in the north and west. Moderate southeast to northeast winds.
No rainfall is expected through until midnight Wednesday.
Thursday until SaturdayFine. Hot to very hot with mainly light to moderate southeasterly winds, becoming milder about southern coasts during the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
