Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Feb 24/17 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred south of the Bight will move southeastwards to be centred west of Tasmania on Saturday then over the Tasman Sea on Sunday. A trough over the eastern states will move westwards over the north of SA early next week.
Forecast for the rest of FridayFine apart from the slight chance of a light shower about the Lower South East coast and the southern coast of Kangaroo Island. Mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds.Saturday 25 FebruaryFine apart from the slight chance of a light morning shower about southern coasts. Mild in the south grading to warm to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds.Sunday 26 FebruaryFine. Mild to warm in the south grading to hot in the north. Light to moderate south to southeasterly winds and fresh coastal sea breezes, tending easterly in the far west.Monday 27 FebruaryFine apart from the chance of early morning fog patches about Kangaroo Island and the southern Mt Lofty Ranges. Warm near southern coasts, grading to hot elsewhere. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and moderate afternoon coastal sea breezes.Tuesday 28 February
A slight chance of a shower in the far northeast during the afternoon and evening. Warm near southern coasts, grading to hot elsewhere and very hot in the far northeast. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and moderate to fresh afternoon coastal sea breezes.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Tuesday are expected to be less than 1 mm.
Wednesday until FridayFine. Hot in the south grading to very hot in the north and west. Moderate southeast to northeast winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CDT Saturday.Product IDS10033
