Slow Bulk Mustard Movement
PANAMA - Feb 12/17 - SNS -- Bulk export movement of mustard seed maintained its slow pace through the past week.
The CGC reports 200 metric tons (MT) of bulk mustard seed export clearances through reporting terminals and primary elevators between January 30 to February 5.
That lifted season to date exports to 10,600 MT, compared to 9,800 MT exported during the previous marketing year.
Official data for mustard seed exports through December was released last week. It showed that total movement is up roughly 1,200 MT over last year at 48,835 MT between August and December.
