Modest Firming in Birdseeds
PANAMA - Nov 14/16 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets showed modest strength during the past week against slowing grower selling interest.
Canadian canaryseed showed significant strength in both spot and deferred shipping positions, with grower bids rising in an effort to encourage selling to keep pace with the short term needs of processors and exporters.
White proso millet seed markets were also firmer, while harvest selling pressure continued to lessen in sunflower markets.
