MELBOURNE - Oct 23/16 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system over western Victoria will drift eastwards across the State on Monday. A weakening cold front and trough will cross Victoria on Tuesday. The trough will linger over Victoria on Wednesday with another cold front to cross the State Wednesday night and early Thursday. Another high pressure system will approach Victoria on Thursday. Forecast for the rest of MondayAreas of morning frost inland, mainly in the west. Fine apart from the slight chance of a morning shower over the far southeast. Sunny in the north. Morning cloud in the south clearing to a sunny afternoon. Cool to mild with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Tuesday 25 OctoberMostly cloudy with isolated showers developing later in the west. A mild to warm day with a strengthening northerly wind ahead of a westerly change in the west.Wednesday 26 OctoberMostly cloudy with isolated showers throughout, more likely in the south. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwesterly winds extending throughout.Thursday 27 OctoberPartly cloudy with isolated showers mainly on and south of the ranges.
