Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 23/16 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system over the Bight will drift eastwards across the State on Monday. A cold front will weaken as it approaches Victoria later on Monday then cross the State on Tuesday with another to follow on Wednesday. Another high pressure system will develop over the Bight on Wednesday then move slowly eastwards on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers over Gippsland, otherwise fine. Moderate to fresh southerly winds.Monday 24 OctoberAreas of morning fog and frost inland, mainly in the west. A fine and partly cloudy day with a slight chance of a morning shower over the southeast. Cool to mild with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Tuesday 25 OctoberMostly cloudy with isolated showers developing later in the west. A mild to warm day with a strengthening northerly wind ahead of a westerly change in the west.Wednesday 26 OctoberMostly cloudy with the chance of isolated showers throughout, more likely in the south later. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwesterly winds extending throughout.Thursday 27 OctoberPartly cloudy with isolated showers mainly on and south of the ranges. Cool to mild with moderate south to southwesterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:00 am EDT Monday.Product IDV10310
