Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 22/16 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure system over the Tasman Sea will move only slowly eastwards on Sunday while a large high pressure system over the Bight will drift eastwards across the State on Monday. A cold front will weaken as it approaches Victoria later on Monday then cross the State on Tuesday. Another high pressure system will develop over the Bight on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayMorning frost patches inland. Scattered showers in the south, though more isolated over the southwest. Showers becoming isolated in the afternoon and contracting to Gippsland during the evening. A cool to cold day with moderate to fresh southerly winds.Monday 24 OctoberMorning frost patches inland. A fine and partly cloudy day with a slight chance of a morning shower over the southeast. Cool to mild with light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Tuesday 25 OctoberFine apart from isolated showers later in the west. A mild to warm day with a strengthening northerly wind ahead of a late westerly change in the west.Wednesday 26 OctoberPartly cloudy with the chance of isolated showers throughout, more likely over Gippsland. Cool to mild with light to moderate southwesterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Sunday.Product IDV10310
