Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 22/16 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high centred south of South Australia will move eastwards during Sunday to be over New South Wales by Monday night. A broad trough of low pressure will move over South Australia on Tuesday and Wednesday. A new high will develop over the Bight later on Wednesday then move slowly east.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine apart from the slight chance of a light morning shower near southern coasts. Areas of frost over the agricultural area and south of the pastorals. Cool in the southeast grading to mild in the far north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Monday 24 OctoberFine. Early frost patches over the Flinders, Mid North, Riverland, Murraylands and southeast districts. Mild in the southeast, warm to hot elsewhere. Light to moderate northeast to northerly winds, freshening in the west, ahead of a milder southerly change developing in the far west during the evening.Tuesday 25 OctoberThe slight chance of showers developing southwest of Roxby Downs to Broken Hill increasing to medium chance over the West Coast and Eyre Peninsula. Possible thunder with showers west of about Adelaide. Mild in the southeast, warm to hot elsewhere. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, with a milder south to southwesterly change in the far west, extending eastwards during the day.Wednesday 26 October
The slight chance of showers south of about Roxby Downs to Broken Hill and north of Adelaide, contracting east during the day. Possible thunder over Eyre Peninsula, Mid North, Flinders and Riverland districts. Slight chance of showers about the Lower South East. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 2 mm, possibly reaching 2 to 5 mm in the west.
Thursday until SaturdayFine apart from the slight chance of showers about the Lower South East on Thursday. Showers developing in the far northwest on Friday then extending to most areas south of about Coober Pedy to Renmark on Saturday. Cool to mild with light to moderate southeasterly winds, turning northeasterly and becoming warmer on Friday ahead of a southerly change extending from the west on Saturday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Sunday.Product IDS10033
