Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 21/16 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high southwest of the Bight will move eastwards during the weekend to be over New South Wales by Monday night. A broad trough of low pressure will move over South Australia on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayEarly frost patches over the Flinders and Mid North district. A slight chance of patchy rain northeast of Moomba clearing early morning. The slight chance of showers over the southern agricultural area, and near the coasts, contracting southwards during the afternoon. Cool grading to mild in the far north and west. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds, easing in the evening.Sunday 23 OctoberFine apart from the slight chance of a light morning shower near southern coasts. Early frost patches over the Flinders, Mid North, Mount Lofty Ranges, Murraylands and Upper South East districts. Cool in the southeast grading to mild in the far north and west. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Monday 24 OctoberFine. Early frost patches over the Flinders and Mid North districts. Mild in the southeast, warm to hot elsewhere. Light to moderate northeast to northerly winds, freshening in the west, ahead of a milder southerly change developing in the far west during the evening.Tuesday 25 October
The slight chance of showers developing southwest of Tarcoola to Renmark, increasing to medium chance south of about Ceduna to Lameroo. Mild in the southeast, warm to hot elsewhere. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, with a milder south to southwesterly change in the far west, extending eastwards during the day.
Cumulative rainfall totals until midnight Tuesday are expected to be less than 2 mm, possibly reaching 2 to 5 mm in the west.
Wednesday until FridayThe slight chance of showers south of about Coober Pedy to Broken Hill on Wednesday gradually contracting southeastwards with fine conditions expected throughout the State by Friday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Saturday.Product IDS10033
