Few Changes in Field Peas
PANAMA - Oct 16/16 - SNS -- International field pea markets were little changed against ongoing movement of product into export markets.
Most major exporters have seen higher than normal shipment volumes since harvest, resulting in a tighter supply situation relative to the needs of the market than might otherwise be the case.
Though the world should finish the 2016-17 marketing campaign with a significant increase in residual stocks, post harvest selling pressure has eased, with the result markets need to coax supplies from farmers.
